2023 SPAC Conference:
Together Again. Celebrating Pennsylvania Pride
Thank you for joining us for Together Again: Celebrating Pennsylvania Pride, the annual SPAC Title I Parent Conference. The event was filled with families, educators, presenters, and friends who enjoyed enriching conference sessions that provided them with tools to enhance student achievement, opportunities to learn more about the role of parents and families in education, and networking with others from across the state of Pennsylvania. In addition to the resources provided to adults, the children participated in fun-filled days at Kids Camp!
If you missed this year’s conference, please ask your school’s Federal Programs Coordinator about attending in the Summer of 2025.
Who Can Attend the Conference?
PA School Districts that receive Title I funding will receive information regarding the SPAC Conference in the spring. This conference is designed for parents who want to learn ideas and strategies to help their child at home, or who want to become parent leaders at the school level.
Conference Topics:
Together Again: Celebrating Pennsylvania Pride provided attendees with presentation topics including:
Strategies for supporting children with reading and math
Understanding Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
Pathways to graduation and funding a college education
Parent and Family Engagement
Kindness and positive behavior strategies
